This is a second hand report as my wife recently had a long term stay at the Grey Goose. My wife stated that this room was exactly what you would expect from a $50-$75 room to be. She got everything she needed in a timely manner. Her stay was very indeterminant and the front end staff were very accommodating. The rooms were clean, the garbage was removed every day and there was no problem using an electric wok/air fryer. Thank You so much for your hospitality and we will recommend the Grey Goose to anyone working in that area.

Apr ‘25 - we had a great stay. Cable tv, wifi, coffee, breakfast, good service (on phone and in person). Our family had a great night here.

It's a decent place for the price. You can't expect a high end room, but it was clean and has what you need. The "continental breakfast" consists of 2 kinds of cereal, and you have to wait for the coffee to be made if you want any, but at least it's something. It's a fairly basic motel, but it sure beats spending double on a slightly more modern place, and I'm not afraid to recommend it. There's also a small stock of convenience store items available for purchase in the office.

We like to stay in motels that are run by people and not corporations. It's not always glamorous but that works both ways. Stayed at a Ramada one time and found a ball of toilet paper under the sheets. That room cost me a heck of a lot of more than this one did. I found this place could use a little more housekeeping but for what I paid I could handle the missing lense over the light. The breakfast wasn't extravagant but it was breakfast and the service was great. Once again it was for travel Baseball for the boy and we didn't stay with the team in Stettler. But overall it wasn't that bad of a stay. When your motel is less than a block away from the diamond location is everything. For value and not a bad place to stay the night I recommend the Grey Goose.

Quick, easy, friendly check-in. Room was clean and quiet and had everything we needed for a night. Microwave, coffee maker, fridge, comfortable beds, and good water pressure/ hot water in shower. Continental breakfast in the morning with coffee and juice was nice, and check-out was a breeze.

Got stranded in castor for a few days while my truck was in the shop. The woman at the front desk was very accommodating and more than willing to help when we asked for more towels, etc. she was the best! It’s not a fancy 5 star motel but for the price! You can’t absolutely cannot beat it!!. My family was warm, good working AC, clean rooms, and we had a working tv. Thank you Grey goose! And if you stay check out the restaurant behind this gem!

Clean, affordable and comfortable. We just spent a 4 nights while in the Castor area and really enjoyed our stay. They were really helpful and constantly asked us if there was anything they could do for us. There was deep snow and they were out there regularly making sure all pathways were clear. Look forward to going back

I called this place home for 2 months while I was apart of the Paintearth Windmill Project! It was only 15 minutes to site and has plenty of parking for bigger vehicles. The rooms were always kept very clean and the beds were always made when I got home at the end of my shift. The area is very quiet and there’s a park with a pond right beside the hotel. If your a construction worker looking for a place to stay close to site and want to save time and money on gas driving from Stettler, I’d highly suggest booking a room with these guys!
